At the 5th CIIE, the organizer comprehensively promoted the zero-plastic standard. Degradable and recyclable materials were used in the outer packaging and handbag of cultural and creative products. Non-degradable woven bags and plastic adhesive tape were also eliminated from the packaging of logistics transportation. The CIIE has always been a stage for 3M to enter the Chinese market and show its international innovation achievements. At this CIIE, the world's first 3M new Shirley cloud fiber thermal materials have the characteristics of high warmth and lightweight, containing up to 80% recycled environmental materials, and adopt the new processing technology, optimize the product processing process, from the raw material and energy two-way start to reduce the carbon emissions in the product life cycle. Reducing the carbon footprint reduces the environmental impact of a product throughout its life cycle

P&g "Air capsule" world debut

Promote recycling of packaging materials

At this CIIE, the newly upgraded "Air capsule" of P&G welcomed its global debut. It continues to innovate in materials, structure, size and other aspects to provide consumers with more excellent logistics experience and sustainable lifestyle.

The newly upgraded "air capsule" is made of 100% polyethylene, so instead of going to the incinerator, it can be returned to the recycling plant to be made into new plastic packaging or filling. At present, the product has obtained the "Shuangyi" (easy to recycle, easy to recycle) certification, and is the first express packaging product in China to obtain this certification.

The fifth Hongqiao International Economic Forum -- a sub-forum on "Promoting Sustainable Industrial Chain Development through CSR Cooperation" was held

On November 5, the Fifth Hongqiao International Economic Forum, co-sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), was successfully held during the CIIE. The forum brought together government officials, international organizations, corporate executives, experts and scholars to discuss how relevant parties can practice corporate social responsibility under the new situation, jointly promote the sustainable development of industrial chain, and maintain the security and stability of global industrial chain and supply chain through the "online + offline" participation.

The forum released the "Report on Sustainable Development of China's Industry and Informatization 2022", "Report on Green and Low-carbon Development of China's Industry and Informatization 2022", the Chinese version of "Net Zero Standard for Enterprises Targeted for Scientific carbon Emission Reduction", and "Social Responsibility Practice of China's textile and Garment Industry" Cooperate to promote Industrial Chain Sustainable Development Report, Electronic Information Industry Social Responsibility Construction Development Report and other professional reports.

"New Energy, New Infrastructure, New Industries" alliance and Shanghai Green and Low-carbon City Industry Alliance was established

On November 7th, the establishment conference of "New Energy, New Infrastructure and New Industries" Alliance (hereinafter referred to as "Three New Industries" Alliance) and Shanghai Green and Low-carbon City Industry Alliance was held during the CIIE.

The Annual Progress Report on Sustainable Development of Kedibao Group was released

On November 8th, the Innovation and Technology Summit of Kedebao Group was held during the CIIE. Focusing on the sustainable development of the transportation industry, the summit aims to bring together the upstream and downstream enterprises of the industrial chain to discuss the target path of carbon reduction and build a green and efficient ecological model of the industrial chain.

At the summit, Codex Group unveiled its sustainable development strategy and roadmap for the first time and released the Annual Sustainable Development Progress Report. The report states that the Group will strive to become a climate neutral company by 2045 and achieve carbon neutrality through four steps: emission reduction, electrification, green energy and carbon offsetting. In China, Kedebao's factories in Nantong, Shunde, Taicang, Chongqing and other places have also adopted innovative technologies to improve resource utilization efficiency and reduce carbon emissions to the greatest extent.
