It can be seen from the above data that the strength of pure spun polypropylene yarn is the highest, far higher than cotton, but after blending with cotton, it is not as high as pure cotton. Although this situation may be related to the unevenness of polypropylene staple fiber  and cotton blending, it is also related It is difficult to control the elongation of polypropylene staple fiber, so the seemingly simple process is also a test of the manufacturer.

The elongation performance of polypropylene staple fiber is large, and it is easy to control in production, and the elongation will be over 60%. In addition to its own structural factors, there may also be insufficient stretching during the production process.

Because of the large non-uniformity of the wire, it is easy to wind the roller to break the end when the stretching ratio is increased, or sometimes it retracts after being stretched. In production, it is often found that the retraction of the yarn between the second and third stretching machines when the machine is stopped will pull the three five rollers upside down, indicating that after orientation, the fiber has a large internal stress and retracts. These can be improved by intense heat setting or appropriate heat treatment.
