Polypropylene staple fibers are mainly used in needle-punched carpets, automotive interiors, non-woven fabrics, ropes, decorative materials, medical and sanitary products, etc.

Polypropylene staple fiber uses polypropylene resin as the main raw material, and is made into colored and colorless fluffy fibers with specified denier and length through melt spinning, drafting, crimping, drying, shaping, cutting, packaging and other processes.

Polypropylene staple fiber has many excellent properties, which are mainly reflected in the following four aspects:

Second, polypropylene staple fibers are light in weight, with a density of 0.9-0.92 g/cm3, which is the lightest among all synthetic fibers. It is 20% lighter than polyamide fibers, 30% lighter than polyester fibers, and lighter than viscose fibers. Fiber is 40% lighter; high strength (same dry state and wet state), good abrasion resistance and resilience; anti-microbial, no mildew or moth; chemical resistance is also better than general synthetic fibers.

Thirdly, compared with other synthetic fibers, polypropylene fiber has the best electrical insulation and warmth retention, it has a high electrical resistivity (7×1019 ohm·cm) and a small thermal conductivity.

Fourth, high strength, strong curling elasticity, light weight, low melting point, good surface permeability, acid and alkali resistance are better than other fibers.
