(2) Cover protection. It not only insulates oxygen, prevents the diffusion of combustible gas, but also blocks heat conduction and heat radiation, reduces the heat feedback to the fiber material, thereby inhibiting thermal cracking and combustion reactions.

(3) Gas dilution effect. The endothermic decomposition of the flame retardant releases incombustible gases such as nitrogen, carbon dioxide, sulfur dioxide and ammonia, which dilute the flammable gas concentration at the cracking site of the fiber material to below the combustion limit. Or the oxygen in some areas at the center of the flame is insufficient to prevent the combustion from continuing. (4) Condensed phase flame retardant. (5) Gas phase flame retardant. Add a small amount of inhibitor to capture a large amount of light free radicals and hydrogen free radicals in the flame zone, reduce the concentration of free radicals, thereby inhibit or interrupt the chain reaction of combustion, and play a flame retardant effect in the gas phase. The gas-phase flame retardant effect is not sensitive to the chemical structure of the fiber material.

(6) The surface effect of particles.
